Insomnia – Cures For Insomnia

Insomnia is a common problem that can be temporary or chronic. As many as one in 10 Americans suffer from insomnia chronic, and has at least one in four difficulty sleeping sometimes. But that does not mean you have to put only sleepless nights. Some simple changes in routine daily habits can result in better sleep.

Insomnia can cause problems during the day, such as excessive sleepiness, fatigue, difficulty thinking clearly or stay focused, or feeling depressed or irritable. Not defined by the number of hours you sleep every night. Although the amount of sleep needed person varies, most people need between seven and eight hours of sleep per night.

Most adults have experienced insomnia or sleeplessness at one time or another in their lives. It is estimated that 30-50% of the general population is affected by insomnia, and 10% have chronic insomnia. Insomnia affects all groups age. Among older adults, insomnia affects women more often than men. The incidence increases with age.

Not getting enough sleep is true curse believe me I know. I've suffered from insomnia for many years and have tried many Insomnia Treatments stocked with varying success. Cures for Insomnia

Try a hot bath or hot shower before bed. Keep room temperature comfortable, not too hot or too cold. A heated blanket can be relaxing too. Use cotton sheets with your favorite pillow (s).

Avoid stimulants such as caffeine or nicotine. It is best to refrain entirely of these, but if you can not then try to avoid them before the end of the afternoon / evening.

Do not be taking any naps during the day. While you may feel power that naps are refreshing your body throughout the day, interrupt your sleep cycle each night. Prevent the body from entering the deeper stages of sleep need to refresh your body.
