• No coffee, alcohol or tea at least 6 hours before bedtime. If you drink decaf, some flexibility is allowed. Otherwise, they are incentives that should be avoided.

• Take a warm bath for half an hour before bedtime.

• Learn to relax. Practice relaxation techniques like breathing deep muscle relaxation.
